World Youth for Action is JA Worldwide's flagship, multi-year youth advocacy initiative. It's built around three connected goals: elevating young people (ages 16-29) as equal contributors in shaping the decisions, systems, and policies that affect their present and future; building a global consortium of ecosystem builders and partner organizations who co-create what real youth advocacy looks like in practice; and converging youth advocates in New Delhi, India, for a Summit that takes that work to the world stage.
-
The Summit is a working convening, not a conference in the traditional sense. It brings together 50 youth delegates (18–29 years old) and 50 thought leaders, including members of the JA Worldwide Board of Governors, the JA Institute Research Advisory Council, and partner representatives, to jointly develop recommendations for the next set of Global Goals. The context behind this: the UN Sustainable Development Goals conclude in 2030, and conversations about what should replace them are already underway globally. World Youth for Action exists to make sure young people have a direct hand in shaping that answer, rather than having it shaped for them.
-
There are two distinct paths.
The first is through the youth advocacy certification program: applicants may be pre-approved for a delegation slot as part of that process.
The second is a direct application path for youth advocates who already have a proven project, campaign, or community behind them; this path opens for applications July 22-August 5. Both paths lead into the same selection process for the limited slots available.
-
There are two options:
JA/INJAZ/YE with a proven track record of leadership in advocacy or social impact.
Youth who applied for the certification program and got pre-approved are eligible to apply, too.
All applicants must be between 18-29 years old, and must be under 30 as of November 21, 2026.

The full ticket value for World Youth for Action is US$2,000. We're excited to announce that youth participants pay a highly subsidised rate of US$200. The gap between that and the US$2,000 value is covered by people who came before you.
Ticket covers 4 nights accommodation, all meals (except dinner on one night), and all experiences from November 17–21, 2026.
Important: The ticket price excludes flights, visa costs, transport to and from the airport, and one dinner.
